my grass is browner

so while i try to get into my old blogs from ummm 2 years ago, i realize it's freaken hot.

since we don't have a pool, or a cool sprinkler park or a babysitter for lil' d, or the $$ to pay to go swimming... tubbs and i decided to use our noggins and make our own day of play.

i turned on the sprinklers and we made a sprinkler park in our own backyard!

we then proceeded to play a game of fetch the ball.









i caught amaya playing in the dirt by the side of the house.

so not ladylike!

derek decided not to participate,
but instead slept the afternoon away...
